ABX Terminal was established in 2010. The decision to build a Class A customs warehouse arose out of the paradoxical situation in the Latvian market. There are many warehouses in Riga, but at that time they were unable to offer the range of services and the level of quality we required for cargo transport operations. Such a situation was unacceptable for us and we decided to fill in the missing link of the logistics: our company is working “25 hours a day 8 days a week”. A special advantage is the location: 300 metres from the Free Port of Riga and a customs checkpoint and in direct proximity to the main roads.
The modern single-floor building fully meets all technical class requirements and the EU norms. The total warehouse area is 3000 m2. The area of additional office and service premises is a further 550 m2.
The warehouse building is equipped with an advanced heating, ventilation and air conditioning system that enables creating the optimal microclimate depending on the storage requirements. An autonomous power substation and heating plant ensure uninterrupted functioning of equipment and makes it possible to rigorously maintain the required temperature-humidity setting. The warehouse is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system.
Security on site is ensured by both a physical security system and video surveillance with a security desk. There are cameras controlling all sectors and ramps.
