"Young Europeans for Global Development" is an EC (EuropeAid) founded two-years (2013-14) project run by five partner organisations in five European countries - Estonia, Germany, Czech Republic, Latvia and Lithuania.

The main aim of the project is to contribute to raising of public awareness about global issues - the participants in voluntary service overseas being the main multipliers of those.

In our project we are trying to better equip the young volunteers with skills which will help them to perceive the context of the countries where they volunteer and after their return to their home countries to give them skills and platforms for being the global education multipliers. We are trying to create an adequate surrounding for volunteers and all the relevant stakeholders which will make the voice of global education stronger, especially in new-member states of European Union, such as Czech Republic, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.

To achieve these aims, we are using such means as international volunteer´s gatherings, youthcamps, expert conferences, platforms for volunteers (so-called Volunteer´s Clubs), lobbying to state authorities and many others.
